Meet the Team | Dog Groomers
Kati:
Being an avid animal lover all my life, when I was introduced to grooming in 2015, I knew it was meant to be. Growing up I always had dogs in the home, and when my husband and I got our German Shepherd in 2014, I knew that they'll always hold a special place in my heart. One of the things I love most about grooming is getting the opportunity to work with so many different dogs, and getting to know each ones unique personality. When I'm not getting my creative outlet at work I enjoy camping, being in the kitchen, and drawing.
Reyna:
I am excited to meet your dogs! I have 30 years of showing, training and grooming experience. I got my start as a "4Her" at age eight and now have two 4-H kids of my own. I have owned and bred Whippets since 1996, and currently have three Whippets and one Spinone Italiano. I began grooming and showing Shetland Sheepdogs and Greyhounds. I have experience in conformation, obedience, and the rally ring. My favorite show memory was my trip to Westminster in NYC a few years ago. I have apprenticed under a longtime Yorkie breeder, and groomer Corrine Boon, and am forever grateful for their expertise. I have experience with wire coated maintenance as well. I truly love researching show grooms to help make your dog looks like a champion at home.
Shelbie:
I have always loved working with animals. In the past I have been an animal specialist and worked with exotic animals, been a dog bather, worked in doggie daycare and done dog sitting. I fell in love with the dogs and their humans. I became fascinated with all the education that grooming entails. I especially love working with shih tzus and putting pretty bows and bedazzles on all of your pups! At home I have three wild whippets. When I’m not working I’m normally spending time over at our local theatre Whidbey Playhouse. I love being a part of this team and I can not wait to glam up your pups.
Melissa:
I started my grooming career in 2000 in the Chicago suburbs. Quickly I fell in love with grooming and had the opportunity to travel with a professional dog handler grooming and showing multiple breeds of dogs. In 2011 I moved to Washington state where I groomed in a veterinary clinic and learned some of the medical side of dog grooming and work on special needs dogs. I am so proud to say that I am one of the original groomers that opened Posh puppies. I was relocated to Jacksonville, Florida for three years with my military spouse but I am so excited to be back in Washington grooming with my Posh puppies friends. I also volunteer with the local 4H club to pass on my knowledge of grooming and showing dogs to the next generation. I love to attend grooming, conventions to stay up-to-date on the latest equipment and attend classes to further my grooming knowledge. I currently share my home with an English setter, Doberman, standard poodle, and a toy Manchester terrier. I strive to make sure your pet is comfortable and has a pleasant experience. I enjoy grooming all breeds and my goal is to make sure your dogs tail is always wagging.
Jenice:
I am originally from California. I moved to Washington and became an attendant at a local doggy daycare. I was offered an amazing opportunity to work at Posh where I have been an apprentice groomer for two years now. I enjoy working with all dog breeds, but especially your double coated breeds! I especially love grooming huskies, and Aussies, really fluffy dogs of any size. Making sure your high energy and older dogs are happy and comfortable is what I aim for. As long as I can remember I have always had dogs in my life. I currently own and enthusiastic chocolate lab that I absolutely adore. Being able to wake up and work with dogs, every day is a blessing.

Cat Groomers
Lisa:
I started working with animals as a Veterinary Assistant in 1999, and continue this work at NAS Whidbey Veterinary Treatment Facility during the weekdays. I had a unique opportunity in 2007 to work with a wonderfully skilled groomer who helped me perfect my pet grooming technique . My true passion is caring for cats and chose to focus helping felines with their grooming needs. While every cat is unique in personality and grooming needs, I enjoy providing a positive experience for your special friend. I have three cats that I love to spoil along with a chinchilla and four chickens. I look forward to working with your precious kitties making them feel beautiful.
Taree:
I have been grooming cats exclusively for over 25 years in various settings, including a Veterinary clinic for 19 years. My main goal has always been to tailor the groom to each individual cat so it can be as peaceful and stress free as possible. I have a lifelong love of cats, they are amazing little beings, and I have lived with a group of them my entire life. My at home activities include beading, sewing, gardening, glass fusion, ceramics, collage and curling up with a good book and a pile of purring cats.
